In partnership with Waihī East School, the Forum completed a fantastic new playground and free barbecue area for our community. Residents will be able to use the area for picnics, barbecues, birthday parties, social sports and more.
During school hours 200 schoolchildren and children from our local Kindergarten will be able to enjoy these updated playground facilities. After school, at weekends and during school holidays, our community can enjoy these facilities too.
Maintenance of the new green space will be taken care of by Waihī East School.
