Home Improvement Grant

Over 2013/2014 residents in Waihī East were given an $850 grant for a home improvement project of their choice. Projects included fencing, painting, redoing driveways etc. As an alternative residents were also offered a basic starter solar panel package.

82% of the Waihī East community took part in the scheme, and remaining funds were rolled over for future Streets Ahead projects.
